It’s only gotten easier for me as I got older because I told the part of myself that put me down to shut it and started to believe in myself
Yeah I should work on my self esteem, but also being broke isn’t as fun when you’re old, it was a lot easier being happy drinking 40s on my floor mattress and eating nothing but ramen when I was 23. Now I need a proper bed or I get back pain and ramen gives me heartburn.
