Highway 2 got wrecked by landslides, and last I heard they don’t even know when it will reopen. I-90 EB was shut down for a day during the atmospheric river event, so it’s totally susceptible. Feels like getting across the Cascades could be a real challenge if things go badly enough.
at first they told us it was just going to be for the weekend. that was last week. Now they’re saying it might last until the new years. Rain isn’t unusual around here but this is getting scary
if this was china they’d have already used giant tractor sized quadcopter drones to airlift in supplies

Thanks for posting this. Last I saw anything about it was a TikTok from some guy that was in the trucker convoy and that was almost a week ago. Its so strange how no one seems to give a flying fuck about this. Its not on Twitter. Its not on the nightly news. Its not on the BBC. Why isn’t this being reported on?
