I don’t know why the FDA (or whatever) doesn’t mandate different shaped bottles. The “same bottle” problem exists for eye drops and ear drops. To avoid confusion - the last time I bought eye drops online - I went out of my way to get stuff that came in a different bottle that’s sort of triangle shaped.
