I showed up like an hour and a half late to my first protest in 3, maybe 4 years. Tiny Toese of Patriot Prayer fame showed up with an amp, a bullhorn, and a grip of fucking goons and started trolling and everyone kinda just left. I almost squared up with one of them (it’s good I did not, because they love to instigate fights and then just deploy mace). I screamed at them and kinda made a fool of myself.
When I first got there though there was a guy from PSL gathering like an email list or whatever and I told him I was interested in joining, and filled in the “I’m interested in joining” box.

How safe is to give personal data like e-maila to a person who claims to be from PSL, even if they really are?
I’m not from USA and I’d never do that. Maybe a particular e-mail only used through tor network?
There must be better methods of organization using the internet…
Someone that’s afraid of identifying that they’re in PSL isn’t going to do very good work for PSL on the street where they have to tell others they’re in PSL all the time when organising.
I would never go alone as PSL or any other org, it’s easier for police to get you, even more when the protest is at its end.
