hello, I’m very exited, in about a week i got my appointment to get hrt. I doubt ill get it since at my age i need consent from both parents being in Australia and I’m only out to my mum.

Is there any tips on what i should say to maybe get hrt even though its doubtful ill be able to get it. If this does not work I’m going to do diy hrt probably.

Also if i dont get hrt and i probably wont I’m going to tell the doctor that this is not healthcare, its only restricting me from getting what i need. welp hopefully i get my estrogen.

    Oh yeah, so minors trans people are going to block their puberty until 18? That’s ridiculous. Blockers don’t exist to wait until majority, they exist to give time for teenage trans people to decide whether they want to do HRT. And that wait time shouldn’t be years. The less time is spent blocking puberty, the better it is.
