They mean add your own LSD. Outside of collectors (they genuinely exist), those blotter sheets would typically be used by people buying the LSD in bulk from manufacturers in liquid form, and infusing it into the blotter paper. Often, though not always, by resellers.
Also the instructions to synthesize LSD are public, they just involve thousands of dollars worth of lab equipment and a good theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry.
people buying the LSD in bulk from manufacturers in liquid form
No large distributors sell or buy LSD in liquid form, it’s sold as a powdered crystal. Some vendors sell LSD disolved in liquid for end users, but people who sell blotter typically get crystal and make solutions with it at the time they are dosing the blotter. LSD degrades more quickly in solution and it’s very hard to keep accurate doses with evaportion losses.
I recommend everyone try LSD sometime in your life, it’s life changing. Unless you have a family history of schizophrenia or other serious mental disorders, then sadly for you it’s best to avoid psychedelics just in case.

I was very deliberate about it. The first time I tried it, I was shocked at how such a small amount could have such a profound effect, and immediately understood that this was a drug to be respected.
I did it maybe 5 times, and the last time was possibly the most enjoyable night of my life, it was a true all night adventure. I stepped into my house as the sun was rising and my trip was down to about 10%, and I remember thinking that it was the best night of my life, and I should NEVER drop acid again. And I haven’t.
When I was driving my son around looking at colleges, I disclosed my drug use to him, and told him about acid, and told him that if someone he trusted had it from someone trustworthy (hmm), and the situation is right, he should definitely do it. That was about 10 years ago, and he still hasn’t done it, but hasn’t ruled it out, last we discussed it.
Maybe that has changed with DNMs. Direct manufacturers like the Dr Seuss guys sell online directly even to consumers in large-ish amounts. Including as a liquid.
With that being said I have no idea if they qualify as “large” distributors.

I’m sure you know that but the fact ergot is pointed as the source of various weird goings on in history is highly unlikely - it’s almost certainly a myth. It doesn’t work in terms of dosage. Mind you I’m still personally convinced that whatever they did at the height of the Eleusinian Mysteries (which your article mentions) involved a strong psychedelic - it just wasn’t ergot.
Lol this reminded me of a funny thing a free local paper printed on April first like 20 years ago: They said that LSD had been decriminalized and that a small square in the article contained a dose of LSD. Soooooo many people ate the little Square and swore they were tripping.
Acid non psychoactive? It’s just a pretend LSD card?
just blotter sans acid it seems
It’s just the empty blotter paper, the LSD would still have to be added. That’s why it’s 15 dollars for a whole sheet.
Make your own LSD?? Did they at least give you the instructions?

Still the main prior, unsurprisingly.

If I was a tripping monk being interrogated, I would blame ergot “getting into the bread” too!

But i thought drugs were bad! Curious how large numbers would partake if not otherwise forced
