Yes, those are things we are very careful about. We turn them into burritos with towel bread and dry them with a hair dryer at medium setting, making sure not to get too close to not burn their skin toast them too much.
It’s quite a bit of work, but it’s worth it to ensure there’s no bits of oil or cleaning chemicals or whatever else stuck in their fur that they’re having trouble getting out and shouldn’t be licking in the first place.

yeah i think skin issues might be an issue, and also mold growing on the fur if it’s too wet (?) and the cat getting sick from the cold.
