My cat (no pic cause he is famous) My cat is the best cat ever. He is smart and strong and he could beat your cat 1v1 in a fight. He can also do a kickflip and and he can run really fast and jump really high. He is also the best looking cat.

I saw a poster for a missing cat and then right after saw a cat with its exact markings so I thought to myself “Kismet, I get to do a good deed today”. I took some pictures on my phone and approached it, but it ran off to a place i couldnt follow. So I texted the number with the picture and they said “Yeah thats a local cat that looks exactly like ours but it isn’t. Thanks for trying though”. And darn, I almost thought i did something good.
despite it not being the one they are looking for, the fact that you took time of your own volition says a lot. If more of us took the time to text a stranger’s number because they thought they saw someone’s missing pet, we’d be a lot better off collectively. Dont feel bad for it being the wrong pet, though i completely understand why. Feel good for having taken a second to try.
