The Sci-Fi channel debuted Farscape, an original sci-fi series about an astronaut who tries to find his way home after being catapulted to a galaxy far, far away.
My dad found a copy of this in a box of stuff he was going through. Pretty sure he kept this copy specifically for this show. Probably one of my favorite sci-fi shows growing up. I watched this instead of Star Trek as a kid. My mom on the other hand (a Star Trek fan) didn’t like the show as she was not a fan of all the Jim Henson muppets.
Took a couple pictures which I’ve included below in case anyone wants to read the close up text. I tried to check the Dallas Morning News archive online for a scanned copy of this, but you’ve got to make an account and pay for that I guess, so… maybe I’ll see if I can scan this later.

Farscape, Boy Meets World, John Tesh. This ad has it all.

That Dean Bolander is quite a woman.
TV listings aren’t ads.
Tell you what, once the Fediverse is overflowing with original content you can gatekeep to your little heart’s content. Until then maybe find something else to do instead of trying to discourage people actually making the effort to post.
Its clearly editorial. Not in any way an ad. They have posted this in the appropriate communities as well, but it doesn’t belong in this one.
Oh no, it falls under ‘etc.’!
