Chasers fetishise traits - in this case, trans-ness, but it can be seen in many ways as a broader term: anyone who fetishises you regardless of whether it’s about being trans, your race, your weight, or something else is a chaser.
The question to ask yourself is “are they interested in me because I’m ___, or as a person?”.
I’m already used to being fetishized for being black. Not sure if being trans is gonna be thaaat much worse.

thank you for sharing this; i’ve trying to figure out what makes these chasers different from all of the other types of chasers and this makes it clear.
