Today I had my one week check up since my last foot surgery and they didn’t manage to clear all the infection. They can offer me an appointment on Friday 11th, one week from now, to do the rest, but I will need to buy more of the bandage packs as this will be dragging on for longer, as well as needing to pay for hospital transport as my landlady is unavailable to drive me that day. Whether I can accept the appointment or not depends on whether I can get the financial help I need to pay for this. They said they will hold the appointment until Tuesday.

I also need help with optical expenses. Once every two years I can have an optician appointment free on the NHS, and the glasses will be free. I recently had this appointment, and they gave me reading glasses which are fine for reading, but the distance glasses they gave me are only good for far distance. This means I can’t see to do anything in between. I can’t even watch TV, and since I’m stuck at home alone pretty much all the time I don’t have anything else to do but watch TV. Unless I can get an extra pair of glasses to see things in between I will have nothing to do all day. But since I’ve already had the appointment and the free glasses I will have to pay for a new appointment and another pair of glasses.

For the foot surgery I need two bandage packs at £44 each, plus £26 for the hospital transport. For the optician it’s £25 for the appointment plus £70 for glasses. So in total I need to raise £209 in total. If anyone can help via paypal please PM me for my paypal email address.

Or if you would rather remain anonymous I could individually buy the items from the bandage packs on amazon, if someone would send me an amazon gift card, to DisabledAceSocialist@hotmail.com

This site takes crypto for amazon gift cards:

I’ll also add that I am going to need help with food for the foreseeable future so if anyone can help with that, these places sell supermarket gift cards and are totally anonymous:

https://www.bitrefill.com/gb/en/gift-cards/sainsburys-in-store-digital-uk/

The reason I can’t afford to pay for these things myself is I’m still waiting for the rest of my disability benefit backpay, so my overdraft is still maxxed out, and after my rent, rent debt and overdraft interest charges leave my account each month, I am left with only £11 which obviously isn’t enough to buy anything.

Np. If it’s something like a plantar ulceration try and keep off of it as much as possible or get a wound offloading shoe. If those things don’t get weight off of them they have a really hard time healing, especially if you have peripheral neuropathy. Good luck!
