“It’s authoritarian to reduce child poverty without considering the feelings of rich people”

Perfect distillation of liberalism, simply don’t believe in anything

Just continuously define yourself by an imagined loyalty to a capitalist state that doesn’t even know you exist, while you defend the right of monsters to immiserate your fellow citizens and their children

    Definition of moral cowards

Authoritarianism is a meaningless term and anyone who uses it immediately outs themselves as politically unserious and at best academically infantile.

Government takes your home to redistribute to the people while ensuring you still have a place to stay: Horrible Authoritarianism

Bank takes your home to redistribute to rich land developers leaving you homeless: Liberal Democracy

I prefer when Representatives elected for gerrymandered districts and Senators (who are explicitly there to counter democracy) prevent the President from doing things that are overwhelmingly popular because the Founders distrusted “the masses”. That is True Democracy.

I don’t think you can really word it any simpler and shorter than that. That really is just the most base description of the democracy liberals want.

I mean their political goal is to destroy the entire system

Oh yeah, just for the fun of it. We just hate everything. What does “destroying the entire system” mean to this person? Because it sounds a lot like the good ol’ “Judeo-Bolshevik Asiatic hordes coming to destroy our superior Western culture” talking point.

And what’s this talk about us being in bad faith? If libs that came here weren’t the most obnoxious terminally online Redditbrained smuglords that refuse to read anything longer than 2 paragraphs of text then people wouldn’t be taking the piss on them as much.

“bad faith” just means “anything I don’t agree with”. It’s a thought terminating cliche so they can keep smelling each other’s farts and congratulating themselves for having the only good opinions™

Bad faith would be like “we should enact these specific policies (secret evil policies that will wreak havoc on the institutions) to make America better uwuu”

No I’m telling you to abolish that shit, firebomb your local PD for more Genshin Impact pulls, drain everything in your landlord into their pool

Haven’t you considered the precedent? The norms? The rules-based order and the law?

We are not like them, because we don’t want children poor. We are also not like them, because we won’t step on any toes to accomplish our goals. We are morally superior, and it only cost us some other people’s kids having to live in poverty

maybe-later-honey it prevented totalitarianism, when we were the ones elected. Can’t do anything about those other ones but vote

I swear, if someone powerful enough to do so decided to feed and house everyone indiscriminately, they would be called a tyrant for it

ok but why even bother having a government if all it can ever feasibly do is write checks for weapons manufacturers and think of creative ways to coerce poor people to work harder?

Republicans: Fuck impoverished children. They should work at Wendy’s and pull themselves up by the bootstraps

Democrats: Child poverty is bad but we are not going to end it because that would be authoritarian. I am a good person. Please pat me on the back

The libs are infinitely more annoying. Chuds are at least honest about being worthless shitheads

Yup republicans say they’re going to do fascism and then they do it as hard as they can.

Democrats say you have to vote for them because they’re the only people that can stop fascism and then they lecture you on why you’re unreasonable for expecting them to do anything to stop fascism and blame you for the fascists.

And then say actually you support the fascists because you’re not enthusiastic enough about voting for them.
