Warp reality to that idealistic goal. (i.e. Nazis fighting for our side is good because they’re fighting for democracy. Or even, they’re not Nazis because they’re fighting for democracy - those are pagan runes.)
In this way, the liberal is always right because they have Good™️ morals and anything that achieves their goals becomes Good™️. For the same reason, any alliance between the Nazis and USSR is bad because they’re doing an authoritarianism and authoritarianism is bad.
