Former President Donald Trump said California is not doing enough to "dampen" its forest floors, which he said will prevent wildfires from ravaging the state.
So, when I read a headline about a politician talking about something, and what they say sounds so far beyond ridiculous and stupid, I imagine there is probably some level of context that makes it less stupid, but just poorly stated, that the particular article has no incentive to show.
Apparently not this one, as Trump went on to blame the Governor of California for not dampening the forests, and suggested the water falling in the north is “free.”
That is honestly one of the dumbest things I’ve read from an adult, and people cheered for it.
I mean, his last big idea for the entire world being on fire was “rake the leaves,” so if raking and watering isn’t gonna work, what do we do? Nuke the forests? Draw a new fire map with a sharpie?

As Carlin once said- “Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise the “leader of the free world” was stupider than that.

Me too. I’m always looking for the context, what really happened. Nope, nothing else to see here.
And this won’t even make national news. Meanwhile, Dan Quayle was too dumb to be VP because he spelled potatoe wrong.
