Yeah that looks like a racist ass statement from that Pat King guy for sure. I don’t support that shit. But thank you for sharing (even though I was asking about Chris Barber).

The rest of that (the 2 out of touch pictures, and the dude urinating on a grave) doesn’t capture the essence of what this meant for most people that supported the cause. It’s like the BLM protests, a few bad actors shouldn’t ruin the message for everyone.

Rachel Gillmore, who wrote that first article you posted, was laid off from global news after all that. Reasons are unclear…

But thank you again for providing sources, sincerely.

A few bad actors who…? Don’t remember any Nazi flags, harassing homeless shelter employees, or attacking priests for wearing masks., nor do I recall any BLM protesters trying to force a man who was Asian to ‘dragon dance’, before beating him with objects when he refused.

a few bad actors shouldn’t ruin the message for everyone.

This started when you claimed the leaders of the convoy weren’t white supremacists, were shown proof they were, and now you’re at ‘a few bad actors…’ before missing the point of the saying you’re (changing the wording of slightly) using: A few bad apples spoil the bunch.

      ruin the message for everyone.

Which was what exactly? That American rules blocking un-vaccinated truckers were Trudeau’s fault?

You guys got conned. Pure and simple. Either you’re a white supremacist trying to hide it, or you got conned by them and are trying to hide it.

With the white supremacy shit, I was referring to Chris Barber and Tamara Lich - the two most prominent leaders of that whole thing.

I didn’t have the information about Pat King prior, so again thank you for that - I stand partially corrected.

The message that shouldn’t be destroyed is basically “hold your government accountable, and do not let them overstep”. Too many of these politicians get away with everything, and it feels like infighting is all we’re left with. At the very least I think this is something we can agree on.

“hold your government accountable, and do not let them overstep”. Too many of these politicians get away with everything, and it feels like infighting is all we’re left with. At the very least I think this is something we can agree on.

And while I agree with that statement, I would like to ask how the convoy approached that in any way. They didn’t attack any of the provincial leaders who were at issue with most of their (non US-required) laws.

Attacking homeless shelters doesn’t send this message. Carrying Nazi flags doesn’t send this message. Carrying Confederate Flags doesn’t send this message Attacking people for wearing a mask, which according to the convoy messaging is body autonomy, and counter to their stated goals, doesn’t send this message. Urinating on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier doesn’t send this message. Dancing on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier doesn’t send this message. Trying to force a man to ‘Do a dragon dance’ because he’s Asian doesn’t send this message. Threatening to murder the Prime Minister for an American Law doesn’t send this message. Harassing and attacking citizens of Ottawa doesn’t send this message. Desecrating the Terry Fox Memorial doesn’t send this message.

          This:

“My 13-year-old neighbour was standing on Carling Avenue after school, waiting for the bus to bring her back home,” a witness named Stephanie testified. “There were a few girls at the stop. A pickup truck with male convoy supporting twenty-somethings began yelling out at the girls to ‘take it off, take it off!’”

          Doesn’t send that message.

          How about this?

Other witnesses described convoy occupiers getting into fist fights with residents at a Canadian Tire, groups of “hooligans” surrounding residents in the streets and harassing shoppers coming and going from grocery stores, as well as fireworks being shot at apartment windows. Numerous residents reported being hectored by vehicles driving in circles around residential neighbourhoods with “massive Canadian flags,” sometimes driving on sidewalks and aggressively accelerating at pedestrians. “I will never be able to look at the Canadian flag the same,” a witness named Christine said. “Whether people are flying it or wearing it, now, for me, it’s a symbol of the occupation.” “I find myself watchful, looking over my shoulder, fearful in a way I was never before.”

Do those things send that message?

That fundraiser that ‘Trudeau’ took the money from? It’s either been returned to donators (those rich white supremacists from the States being most of it) or held in Escrow until the, you know, civil court cases of the people of Ottawa against them for their totally non-violent protest. And it was innitially halted by GoFundMe.

You need to look really carefully about what you’ve been lead to believe here.

(I can save you a bit of searching, but rich white supremacists are behind most of it. In fact, just about every issue in your life you’ve been told is an immigrants fault, or Trudeau’s fault, or 'the left’s fault, or 'woke’s fault, etc, is all some rich white conservative trying to get you to in-fight with the other poors, of which I am also a member.)
