Yup, it’s hard to justify supporting Lenovo, but work buys mine, so I’m not gonna complain too much about it.

“Ya know what? Now I’m going to give you results with that term even more!”
Thinkpads are awesome. They aren’t as good as they used to be, but they still work great for linux.
Why mint?
I use mint as my “TV room” OS. It’s worked pretty well so far.

I’m pretty annoyed at how ollama has gone deep in the paint as basically being a tool for accessing cloud models.
Can you expound a little more on what you mean by this?
I like ollama, but I only really use it to load models and then hit the API. My current issue with them is that they don’t seem to support non-text base interaction very well.

As a system administrator, I’ve done all of these to some extent. But at that pay range, it better be part-time.

This is like when movie-stars put on bad makeup to “look ugly”, and they end up looking like average people.
I’m drinking a lot less. I’m getting older, and it’s harder on my body.
Having access to weed and psychadelics helps, but also the alcohol-free-beers are much better than they used to be.
I still drink, but I fully support younger generations not drinking as a health choice. I suspect a lot of this is, unfortunately, not due to health concerns, but afordability.
