maddow spent like 20 minutes rehashing the 2016 russian interference narrative and said nothing about the pied piper strategy, clinton not campaigning in wisconsin, nor last month’s statement from putin about preferring biden to trump in the present.

i guess liberals can remember history more than a week if it’s more convenient than what’s actually happening.

Fascists need their enemies to be both strong and weak at the same time, liberals need them to be both nefarious strategic geniuses and absolute hole-in-the-ground idiots.

Really? Trump being elected would be a final blow for Ukraine.

President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would prefer to see U.S. President Joe Biden win a second term, describing him as more experienced and predictable than Donald Trump — even though Moscow strongly disagrees with the current administration’s policies.

Putin’s comments during an interview with Russian state television Wednesday were his first about the upcoming U.S. presidential election, likely to pit Biden against Trump. They were rare praise for Biden, a fierce critic of the Russian leader who has frequently lauded Trump.

“Biden, he’s more experienced, more predictable, he’s a politician of the old formation,” Putin said, when asked which candidate would be better for Russia. “But we will work with any U.S. leader whom the American people trust.”

If Trump’s rhetoric is to be believed. I have absolutely no reason to believe it.

In other news - libs love milking Trump’s “bloodbath” soundbite. They can’t seem to understand that betting worked up and frothing at the mouth about a one-word Trumpism is giving Trump yet more free media and making him live even more rent free in their heads.

It really is wild that dems want to constantly rehash 2016 considering, ya know, they blew the easiest election in a century in plain view of everybody.

And the lesson the dems took from that was to double down on everything that made her lose.

Wait a fucking minute, is that Jen Psaki? Biden’s press secretary for like 2-3 years, lied all the time to cover for him? I sure bet we can rely on her to be unbiased.

She went back to brunch so hard too. Biden got elected, and after she ran enough interference for him, she quit and got a job as a pundit on a 24 hour news channel

The funniest thing about Russiagate is that they couldn’t come up with anything beyond, “the Russians are sowing discord by posting online about America”. Not even hackers changing numbers or paying politicians off in a lobby group, just saying bad things to change people’s mind in an election year. And liberals eat it up.

Russiagate is such a hot button topic for them too. They don’t seem to ever ruminate the specific details of the “significant” role American intel agencies said Russia played in the election. And they ignore how that “significant” role becomes so minor with adequate context. I like to remind them that CNN gave Trump something like a billion dollars in free media in the 2016 campaign. And every media outlet was feeding on the “Trump news” trough to grab eyeballs, sell ads, etc.

“The CIA isn’t all powerful, controlling all elections throughout the world, you’re being a conspiracy crazy, and denying the agency of the local people around the world”

          Also

“Putin controls Trump and his cultists. Xi controls the youth of America through TikTok and video games. We must ban all disinformation”

          Liberalism folks.

Voting is still an essential tool of the bourgeois so they pretty much can’t say someone actually changed the outcome of the election otherwise elections themselves would be unnecessary.

      “go away”

      Me too.

Lin-Manuel Miranda is really dropping the football by not already having a 2016-themed musical called Hillary. Libs cannot get enough of her. More than anything else in the world - they want to her to win in 2016. And they’ll never fully accept she didn’t do it. These could be the lyrics to the lead song…

      What if… (Oh, yes?)
      What if… (Say more.)
      What if… (Do tell!)

      Hillary won! (Eff yeah!)

“Eff yeah” in matinees because children are more likely to be present but the full monty “Fuck yeah!” in evening performances. The Hillary merch shop instantly sells out of the two versions of the t-shirt every time they restock. And there’s a bit of a scandal when LMM Productions starts aggressively suing even the tiniest stores (Esty, etc) for selling “Eff yeah”/“Fuck yeah!” t-shirts with the text in a font similar to the venerable HillaryFont™.

The media was absolutely desperate to try to make the primaries a horse race so now that they finally had to admit what everybody knew 8 months ago, that it was gonna be Biden Trump, they’ve gotta come up with sonething else and the Russian interfearance shit had every lib in the country learning the names of third string state department ghouls.

I swear I’m going to be perpetually stuck some time between 2016 and 2020 (inclusive). Not just because of elections, but they sure don’t help.

How the fuck has it been >3 years since 2020?
