I beat the tier 3 boss of forest for the first time yesterday after weeks of trying. My technique was shield, flamewalker, and just sort of jumping above the boss until it died.
How do you deal with the charging shrine shit though? Three of them is excessive and even if I can tank a hit charging it the fucking knockback will knock me out of the charging radius, it’s so annoying. And i don’t have a character unlocked with flamewalker to start and the boss disables everything but your main weapon
You just have to avoid attacks by jumping and running around. Really, really invest in extra jumps, I wish there was a tome for it. Even if you get hit you can get back to the shrine quickly with jumps, even with slow characters. You get a weapon back after each charge section, so if flamewalker is your second weapon, you just need to make it through the first section of the fight.
