Not surprising. Any platform with a significant number of users ultimately becomes a potential vector to steer public discourse at large scale. And I do think it’s clear that Epstein was more than just a broker for a child abuse island; he was a middleman through which rich and influential people could connect and coordinate.

And it really shouldn’t be underestimated just how influential 4chan was. In the latter half of the 2000s, it slowly but surely became the dominant force in creating internet meme culture, taking that crown from Something Awful, and largely influencing how people talked in those days. There was a reason the “f slur” was so common, and that was long before /pol/ even came into existence.

By 2010/2011, Ragefaces were the main “generic” meme format that people used on sites like 9gag, and they originated from 4chan. These would then be switched out for the Wojak/Pepe format that would become mainstream around 2013/2014, Pepe itself being largely perpetuated by /pol/. The frog has largely fallen out of favor for being associated with nazis, but the Wojak format persists, even within leftist communities, over 12 years later. A ton of internet expressions and mannerism originate from 4chan, so it’s not surprising that it would become a target for rich people to influence public discourse.

This is the forest that people missed for the trees when Musk took over Twitter. For all the chants of how Musk was wasting a lot of money, how investors would leave, how the site might become unstable because of important people being fired, and how it would all turn into a disaster and collapse – people seemed to barely consider the potential long-term gain for Musk in terms of narrative control by taking over such a huge social media site. Unsurprisingly, Musk then decided to get directly involved with the Trump administration, taking direct advantage of the media platform he now controlled. And the site persists, now considered a lawless trash dump with selective and sparse moderation, where far-right ideology can thrive, very much like 4chan.

And in the coming weeks and months, we will see such a takeover unfold with TikTok as well. There can be no major platform of public discourse online that rich and influential people will not attempt to take control of. It simply cannot be allowed to exist.

  • One of the most pathetic things is these are 60 and 70 year old men (including Bannon in this) who are treating tech wonderkin as their fountain of youth. This is exactly what Musk does too. The proletariat version of this is dirtbag hot couch guys who are in their 30s and hang out at high school parties. Except the poors are much better at policing that shit.

The elite pedophilia conspiracy according to Qanon-types: You see, when they write that they are out of “gorgonzola” for the “cheese pizza” then that means that the kids in the basement have been drained of their Orgon energy. If you look closely at the logo of the store across from Comet PingPong then-

    The actual elite pedophilia scandal:
“Hello Jeffrey Epstein it’s me Elon Musk, please plaease please please pleasssssse let me come to your island so I can do sexcrimes on children, it would be so epic!”
“Helo Elonn, sry but I am out of town :/ molesting kids with Bono in ireland … some other time maybe we can have sex with minors together - Jeffrey Epstein ps. here is a picture of me, Donald Trump, The King of Spain, Jamie Foxx and Bill Gates and we’re all crouching over sleeping womin lol, have a good one”

Lol I was literally going to suggest anti vax, and maybe some pro vax people could be there due to his connections to academia. Andrew Wakefield is a good call though.

But as far as I know, Epstein has nothing to do with factory farming + industrial meat production.

He surely didn’t come up with those ideas but there’s gotta be a lot of agri-olicarchs in that list.

Also those european “farmers” movements are one connection away from Jeffrey at best

If you combine this with the theory that Ghislaine was the /r/worldnews moderator /u/MaxwellHill, this would mean both of them were impactful in the right wing nerd internet culture that has become so mainstream.

Please include EFTA ID #s when you post screenshots of Epstein documents. EFTA stands for Epstein File Transparency Act. Each file in has an ID #. Why people are sharing the files without the ID # makes no sense.

seriously. there are fakes floating around, so screenshots of alleged docs without a link are indeed dubious. If you want to verify something though, the documents on the DOJ website are currently searchable: https://www.justice.gov/epstein/search (but of course some have also been deleted after being published…)

In this case, the close coinciding of epstein's first meeting with moot and the creation of /pol/ is in fact substantiated (click for links)

edit: searching for 4chan.org shows that Epstein later became a user of it himself; he’s emailing links to threads there to Karyna Shuliak and others. It also has 4chan’s response to the FBI’s subpoena for the IP address(es) responsible for four posts which were made immediately prior to his death being reported publicly.

click for death-was-faked conspiracy fodder 🍿

One of those four posts has been widely reported about:

don’t ask me how I know, but Epstein died an hour ago from hanging, cardiac arrest. Screencap this

… while another suggesting his death was faked has been seen mostly only on places like /r/conspiracy - so it seemed likely to have been fabricated after the fact:

Not saying anything after this pls do not try to dox me but last night after 0415 count they took him medical in a wheelchair front cuffed but not 1 triage nurse says they spoke to him. Next thing we know a trip van shows up? We do not do releases on the weekends unless a judge orders it. Next thing we know, he’s put in a single man cell and hangs himself? Heres the thing, the trip van did NOT sign in and we did not record the plate number and a guy in a green dress military outfit was in the back of the van according to the tower guy who let him thru the gate. You guys i am shaking right now but i think they switched him out.

4chan’s recently-released subpoena response (linked above) includes the text of that post (and not the others, because only that one was deleted apparently?) and confirms that it was made at 8:44 EDT, 10min before the news was public elsewhere. (But 30min after the other 4chan thread saying he hung himself, so, probably just a fiction-writing 4chan user working off of that… but still subpoena-worthy to someone at the FBI.)

in my mind, the chronology was that 4chan had a board called /news/ which was shutdown because it was a community for racists. Then Poole publicly and in-person confronted the owner of Encyclopedia Dramatica, accusing her of censorship for deleting racism. He realized it looked hypocritical that he also shut down a board, so he says it wasn’t the racism itself he opposed, but that the racism was off-topic to a news board, so he created a politics board where racism wouldn’t be off-topic.

Please point out if any part of this is wrong.

Pretty sure this is accurate. TBH I wouldn’t be surprised if this had more to do with Nikolic, the other person in these emails. Used to be a tech advisor for Bill Gates and seems to have already known Moot. They meet up and he launches /pol/ a few days later.
