    When discussing things based on a certain school of thought like Marxist dialectical materialism there is terminology we can use to more accurately convey our meaning, rather than the meaning coming from just our interpretation. I think there is plenty of good discussion here where people do listen to each other’s points rather than responding instinctively based on their bias. If you’re talking about something like magic or psychedelic experiences though, or religion, etc, things that are more subjective and less able to be rigorously studied, people will have a stronger bias, especially here where there is an emphasis on pure materialism.
