    This is just obscurantist language, like Spinoza calling the material universe God. That is not what anyone using the term means outside of extreme edge cases.

        If your idea of “magic” doesn’t entail the belief in the supernatural, fine, I don’t really have a problem with it, but that’s not what barely anyone means. Unless they’re talking about copperfield.
