Aerosolized poop droppings (often via disturbing them via walking or cleaning). Many initially documented cases with the North American variant were things like Native Americans on reservations getting sick from sweeping up rodent droppings off dirt floors and getting particles into the air which they then breathed.
It’s critical if you ever deal with cleaning up areas that rodents have been in that you wear a respirator. N95 or better preferably but even a simple dust mask would prevent inhalation of some larger particles of shit that might have virus on them though you really do want that N95.
