Oh no, thankfully that hasn’t happened to me yet! This was more of a replying to your comment when half asleep and then actually reading what you said properly which made my reply redundant.
Weirdly similar experience - one time in the college cafeteria, where the policy was take all you want but eat all you take, I ate 12 desserts for lunch. The portions were small. I stopped at 12 although I was sure I could eat one more, because I wasn’t sure I could eat two more and stopping at 13 seemed unlucky. Apparently King Adolf lacked my superior power of risk assessment.
