I find the domestic news that isn’t really that globally relevant a fascinating window into a place. I’d like to know what the people who flip on a major news channel in Algeria,Thailand, Czechia, or pretty much anywhere without serious reporting in English are going to see while they drink their morning caffeine before work.
The place in particular does not matter, I just want to broaden my understanding a bit. If there’s a particularly good source for a primarily English speaking nation, I’d be appreciative for that as well. Johannesburg municipal news is something I don’t follow and would learn from, as an example.
Cheers, and thanks to anyone who replies.
CGTN from China
NHK news from Japan, and France24 from France, though I’m pretty sure these are both lib coded
All of these have channels on YouTube
Also DW from Germany has an English YouTube channel
Also true. Straight up dog of empire, but it fits the criteria. Ironically, Al-Jazeera (Qatari, English-speaking) is more critical of Empire and fits the criteria.
