I just found out that during heatwaves, amazon workers began collapsing. Jeff bezos decided that getting air conditioning inside the warehouses was too expensive, so he took the cheaper option of parking ambulances outside instead.

    It probably isn’t allowed. However, the ruling class can break the laws without consequence, because the law is primarily a tool to enforce the will of the ruling class against the working class. In a democratic system under capitalism, the power of the state is auctioned off to the highest bidder.

      Not that I’m defending anything… But very few warehouses, factories, or commercial buildings have A/C. I’ve been working in them for years, you just open the garage doors and maybe run some fans and it’s hot as fuck and that’s that.

      Honestly I probably have kept my weight down sweating my balls off and wrenching in factories over the years.

      It absolutely is allowed. The heat regulations set by the EPA are usually centered around healthy, white males, if you are outside that category, in any direction, good luck.
