I just found out that during heatwaves, amazon workers began collapsing. Jeff bezos decided that getting air conditioning inside the warehouses was too expensive, so he took the cheaper option of parking ambulances outside instead.

You’ll never guess who makes the laws.

Also, there was a big news story about how they got AC in the robot-run warehouses because the robots were overheating, but some aspect of that may have been misreported, like that it wasn’t consistent across all manned/unmanned warehouses. Still shitty, and exactly what we can expect from a billionaire.

That put a smile on my face. It’s exactly what they would do in the world we live in. It’s not like Bezos sees his workers as anything other than ‘fleshy robots.’ Luckily, they have an immune system against rotting. It often saddens me that capitalism motivates a man to prioritize the care of his ‘robot property’ over his own species. I almost puked when I heard him worship Trump, his prophet, in a recent interview.

I can’t imagine these people ever feel real love or happiness. They can’t be so intellectually stupid as to be unaware of the horrors they inflict upon society. Yet, they seem to live happily, with no problems with their conscience while being immoral, unethical, and corrupt. I think they’re even proud of it; it’s just a game in which you eat or are eaten. Predatory and imperialist, but empty and soulless.

He should be tied to a pole and paraded through multiple towns in the scorching heat to experience the suffering he imposes on his underpaid workers, bastard.

Because it is something most Americans would excuse as a smart business decision if it materializes in better earnings next quarter. Had a meeting with some of these Americans in question today

I genuinely don’t think a lot of people are able to see past the line. If it turned out that he chose the A/C option, profits dipped and it started affecting the DOW, you’d get some sort of opinion piece from a ghoul criticizing the decision which the media would treat as gospel.

It probably isn’t allowed. However, the ruling class can break the laws without consequence, because the law is primarily a tool to enforce the will of the ruling class against the working class. In a democratic system under capitalism, the power of the state is auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Not that I’m defending anything… But very few warehouses, factories, or commercial buildings have A/C. I’ve been working in them for years, you just open the garage doors and maybe run some fans and it’s hot as fuck and that’s that.

Honestly I probably have kept my weight down sweating my balls off and wrenching in factories over the years.

It absolutely is allowed. The heat regulations set by the EPA are usually centered around healthy, white males, if you are outside that category, in any direction, good luck.
