Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich on Sunday repeated his call for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to approve the establishment of three Jewish settlements in the Gaza Strip, as senior Israeli ministers continue to speak openly about their plans for permanent Israeli control of the Palestinian territory.

Smotrich made the call in a post on X, in which he referenced the withdrawal of settlements from Gaza and from an area of the northern West Bank, which he calls “northern Samaria,” a policy known as the “disengagement.” Israel is re-establishing the settlements in the northern West Bank, and he is calling for the same in Gaza.

In the post, Smotrich referenced the upcoming Israeli elections, warning that a “left-wing” government won’t expand settlements as aggressively.

“Before us stands the choice, between a right-wing government that will continue the momentum of construction and expand it, and a dangerous left-wing government that openly declares its intention to evacuate settlements and outposts and to promote a ‘political agreement,'” Smotrich said.

“And from northern Samaria – to Gaza! The Settlement Administration under my leadership is prepared to establish 3 settlements in the northern sector of the Gaza Strip, and I call on the Prime Minister to give the green light to the move. Together we correct the sin of the disengagement,” he added.

Smotrich also holds a ministerial position in the Israeli Defense Ministry, where he oversees the Settlement Administration. He first announced in June that the body had drawn up plans for three settlements in Gaza and was just waiting for the green light from Netanyahu.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party, has also said that Israel will establish three “Nachala outposts,” a type of settlement that starts as a community for IDF soldiers with the goal of establishing a permanent civilian presence.

Tehran, Aug 2 (Prensa Latina) Iran today reaffirmed its preparedness to face the worst-case scenarios and warned of the consequences of the continuation of what it described as US aggression against its territory, citizens and interests.

In a statement, the Iranian Foreign Ministry asserted that the Armed Forces will continue their defensive actions and denounced the naval blockade imposed by Washington, as well as the attacks against Iranian citizens inside and outside the country, as a violation of the Charter of the United Nations.

The Foreign Ministry stated that Tehran will use all available means to exercise its inherent right to self-defense and accused the UN Security Council of failing to take effective measures against US and Israeli operations.

He also accused Washington of trying to undermine the agreements reached with Iran and argued that recent statements by US President Donald Trump demonstrate a prior plan to renege on his commitments.

According to the ministry, threats to terminate the memorandum of understanding, revoke authorization for the sale of Iranian oil, and reinstate sanctions violate the sovereign rights of the Islamic Republic, including those related to the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran rejected the explanations offered by the United States to justify its recent attacks and called the use of incidents involving three ships on July 8 as a pretext to escalate the confrontation misleading.

The Foreign Ministry accused Washington and some of its regional allies of taking advantage of these events to increase tensions and weaken previously reached agreements.

The statement indicated that between June 26 and July 8, repeated movements of US warships were observed alongside large oil and gas tankers.

Lulinha is a businessman, but doesn’t seem to be involved in any real crime, also they have been investigating him since 2002, curiously every time they investigate him he’s found innocent a month after the elections, despite the claims being genuinely weird like “he owns a ferrari made out of gold”. Lula da Silva is approved by 49% of the population.

Lula didn’t defend the Paraguayan Genocide, but he did compare Donald Trump and Milei to Solano Lopes (dictator of Paraguay). Paraguay is just being used by the US to create a false comparison between the Palestinian Genocide with the Paraguayan war. Paraguay is a civic-military dictatorship.

Lima, Aug 1 (Prensa Latina) Peruvian President Keiko Fujimori reiterated her interest in the “Shield of the Americas”, a controversial military-police project under the aegis of the United States in Latin America.

During a tour of counterinsurgency bases in the interior of the country, he said he is interested in joining the aforementioned project, as he believes it is geared towards uniting efforts to confront organized crime and share information about it.
