Don’t take the opinion of the children on here too seriously. Most of them are young white kids from over privileged western nations who have never had to make a hard decision in their lives.

My family has been shattered by the US government and I can still differentiate between a practicing fascist and a comrade. The most powerful thing about socialism is that it reaches across nationality, ethnicity, and even personal history to turn a former enemy into an ally.

This site is good in some aspects, but people here are generally not interested in committing to mutual aid and growing the movement. Most people here are just virtu signaling and trashing people over eclectic theory they never actually act on.

The person who made the original comment against the US military is not white nor from a western nation. Their family has also been subjected to genocide by the US military itself, which has utterly destroyed Iraq and destabilized the entire region to the point of widespread poverty. This is just some right wing cope thought terminating cliche used to prevent criticism of genocidal war crimes.

Most people here are just virtu signaling and trashing people over eclectic theory they never actually act on.

Cope. The only one trashing others is OP, who started this whole comment thread by swearing at someone for voicing displeasure at a genocidal military force because OP got personally offended. Everyone scolding OP for doing so is doing it in the most civil way possible.

It isn’t “eclectic theory” to be against white supremacy and genocide. Stop the cope.

Then I wouldn’t be talking about them?

Their family has also been subjected to genocide by the US military itself, which has utterly destroyed Iraq and destabilized the entire region to the point of widespread poverty.

No they are Persian, and from a country that has also been to war on a devastating scale with Iraq in modern times. I’m not saying this to diffuse the US’s responsibility and participation in the Gulf war, or even the Iraq and Iranian war. I mention this because if we focus on nationalism instead of class consciousness and class solidarity we begin to not be able to see the forest for the trees.

This is just some right wing cope thought terminating cliche used to prevent criticism of genocidal war crimes.

        What is?

Cope. The only one trashing others is OP, who started this whole comment thread by swearing at someone for voicing displeasure at a genocidal military force because OP got personally offended.

No I see multiple people making things personal and lashing out at each other.

Did he overreact and take things personally, yes. However, so did our Persian brother. Op did not kill their family, just as op did not kill my family. Op joined a violent organization out of inherited ignorance and has since changed his ways and feels shame for his past.

There is no reason to be mad at him as an individual, nor does he currently represent the US military. For his realized class consciousness, his former colleagues and family would label him a traitor. And what do we do for him denying himself the easy path? We label him dog of war and kick him from under our roof?

        against white supremacy and genocide.

How is lambasting someone who wants to be a comrade being “against white supremacy and genocide”. ?

I mention this because if we focus on nationalism instead of class consciousness and class solidarity we begin to not be able to see the forest for the trees.

How is it “nationalist” to express righteous anger against a genocidal white supremacist military that attacked your family?

No they are Persian, and from a country that has also been to war on a devastating scale with Iraq in modern times. I’m not saying this to diffuse the US’s responsibility and participation in the Gulf war, or even the Iraq and Iranian war.

Completely irrelevant information to the fact that the user’s family were victims of a genocide committed by the us military.

          What is?

Answer: “Most of them are young white kids from over privileged western nations who have never had to make a hard decision in their lives”

I mean this is such a good description of NATO member armed forces and ashekenazim in the IOF.

No I see multiple people making things personal and lashing out at each other.

          Muh both sides lmfao

Did he overreact and take things personally, yes. However, so did our Persian brother

Next level stalking to find out the user was Iranian. TIL that its “overreacting” and “taking things personally” when you express your displeasure at a white supremacist military that attacked your family in a genocide and then remind someone of their victims when they swear at you for it. Peak clown world.

          has since changed his ways

There is no reason to be mad at him as an individual

Can’t stop cussing people out for expressing hated towards the us military, can’t apologize for this appalling behaviour when the person’s family was victimized by the us military, “changed his ways” lmao there is every reason to be mad at him, istg we were too nice.

How is lambasting someone who wants to be a comrade being “against white supremacy and genocide”. ?

          1. They can’t do the bare minimum to “be a comrade” anonymously on the internet, they need to be taught that.
          2. Because they were defending a white supremacist genocidal force.

          Just stop the cope.

I think you owe a debt to society, as do we all. Yours just may be a little heavier because of your past, it’s just not insurmountable as some allege.

That is not how you recompense, it serves no one. Engage with mutual aid, build a network for those in need. Use the tools you were taught to protect your community and to teach others.

A misguided youth can one day just become hard earned experience if applied to a future with proper intention.
