Mainstreaming of psychology language has a lot of elements to it and they’re all bad. Psychologists are supposed to be experts who know their field and make mental health determinations based on large amounts of evidence, not a random person who watched a YouTube video and read an AITA post.
A lot of “legitimate” psychologists are about as qualified as a random person who watched a youtube video
