Anybody else find the internet (web) frustrating to use recently? Things don’t work half the time. Pages not load. Error here, error there.
I somewhat blame my janky network setup and attempts at enforcing privacy. But it is getting more and more bad. Perhaps I look like a robot too much.
Anyone else find it seems to be crumbling?

If you’re using a VPN that’s likely the reason. All the AI detection bots they have running have really crippled VPN usage. Fucking cloudflare.
Yeah, also seeing more and more broken stuff. I assume my privacy enforcement mechanisms are making me look like an unauthorized AI scraper or something
Most sites that won’t let me in are doing me a favor, really
blocks my VPN which has been very helpful in never going on that hell siteThey rolled back that thing where they wouldn’t let you visit the mobile website to make you switch to the app. That was a beautiful week
youtube is incredibly slow now but i think it is the invisible battle between the ads and ublock origin
Yeah get weird stuff all the time, but also I’m using a pie hole and have other blockers and trackers and things being blocked, so I assume most of the time it’s that and the cost of doing business.
My internet speeds up/down are supposedly getting faster but browsing isn’t getting any speedier
Gigabit fiberoptic speeds but each site is now 1,5Gb of javascript
Large sites have been around for a while now. Technical debt perhaps?
