It’s a misogynistic framing of sex workers as wicked seductresses leading innocent boys astray. It’s saying that dumbass euro leaders are thinking with their war boners but framing it as a naive folly rather than a deliberate choice.

A furnished room is one where the landlord provides the furniture, implying less permanency than a room where the tenant brings their own. It’s probably also a SRO or single room occupancy with shared bathroom. So a bed, a chair, a dresser that’s it.
It’s not a hotel room or a flophouse but it’s making a class commentary on the sex worker that is perhaps lost on us in 2026, that is she is an established professional (can afford her own place to host Johns) but still living on the fringes with probably only what she can carry in a couple of large bags.
