i love my country deeply but it doesnt love me in terms of my beliefs. i often consider leaving the NATO aligned world

Hate to be that person but no, this is not correct. Long live to the heroes of the Soviet Union who gave their lives defending their homeland from fascism, long live the Cuban doctors who study all their lives to treat their compatriots.
My country is the international working class
If your nations is occupied or partitioned, then the national question is easy to answer. Your immediate contradiction in the way of socialist progress is national liberation.

im only asking a question. you got it all wrong if u dont think communists loved their countries sometimes
I think that was his opinion of his country
No that would be

I’m just joking brosef
Your screen name is literally a reference to the NATO intelligence sharing program that includes the CIA lol
That’s entirely a coincidence, just changed four-eyes to fourteen eyes because I have some weird obsession with the number
You’re 8 short

I have no love for the nationalistic bourgeoisie project that I happened to be born into.

Is your country loyal to you?
Ask not what you ought to do for your country, but what your country actually does for you and for the least of its citizens.
I am currently unfortunately located in the US. New England, specifically, which provides the one boon of having a very pretty environment. Not that that really cheers me up becuase it just reminds me of how climate change will destroy all of it within my lifetime. Anyone who would be loyal to this, either its repressive murderous imperialistic governance or its empty vacuous unthinking populous, is a dog of the lowest order.
Countries are just arbitrary borders drawn in blood. At the end of the day, we’re all just people living on the same planet.
You know, I keep looking for the line between Canada and the US and I just can’t find it! You’d think it would be easier to see, beginning to think it’s just made up.
My ancestors used to reside on that border, location depending on the time of year because that’s how they lived back then. Then the Europeans came and drew their line and my ancestors said “fuck it” and smuggled shit across said border because we had family on both sides.
Would you say this too about the doctors in Cuba enduring poverty conditions, blackouts, and studying hard all their lives to treat their compatriots even during the blockade, when they could move to another country and make literally 10 times as much while also helping patients there? I think this patriotism in Cuba is saving hundreds of thousands of lives.
Yes, I would. If not for the artificial hardship imposed mainly by US sanctions, they would not need to endure blackouts and poverty in addition to the natural hardship of studying hard for that position. I don’t think it is patriotism driving doctors anywhere on the planet, but rather a strong love for their neighbor.
So they should just move out of Cuba and treat people somewhere else and that would be equivalently moral?
That depends on if you’re talking about a theoretical world without borders or the world as it exists today.
In a theoretical world without borders, yes.
In the world as it exists today, it’s more complicated than that since the artificially-imposed hardships do still exist.
No, I’m talking about today
I answered that in a ninja edit.
You didn’t really answer, “it’s more complicated” is not an answer. You can say “I don’t have an answer” if you don’t, but I’d like to hear your opinion
I’ll serve crack before I serve my country
fuck no lol what kind of loser shit is this
I swear loyalty only to the proletariat

How can I be loyal to a concept that literally arbitrarly divides the working class?
