I mean, I would argue the “Coward’s Swastika” (thin blue line) flags are about pride.

Paired with the accompanying text, the commenter implies that the people calling for the burning of Pride flags should burn their racist confederate pride flags.

I mean, this statement was made in Colorado. They love Lincoln up in Colorado, cause he built a ton of the rail network that makes Denver more than a glorified truck stop (and also helped kill all the Indians in the northern territories to enable westward expansion).

It’s all they have now. They’re unwilling to compromise any position, even though those positions are horribly unpopular. Instead they have to make a lot of noise and insist you move further to the right to meet them in the middle, or else.

I get the blue and green ones (police and military), the red ones are for firefighters, right? To steal a phrase, nobody ever said fuck the fire department.

We’re lucky we don’t have ancient Roman style privatized firefighters that would stand around and wait for payment before putting out your fire.

Alternatively, “Hi, I’m with the fire department and I would like to buy your on-fire house. Take this deal now, because the price is only going down!” But yeah, they probably said fuck this specific fire brigade two thousand years ago lol

American-sized license plate holders, so it’d be the Tacoma (similar to Hilux, but not quite the same). Or possibly old enough that it’s just called “Toyota Truck”.

It is, however, one machine gun away from being a technical.

In fact I’ve already got my bi flag and pride flag that I’m planning to put on my truck like all the people with US flags do on theirs

No they hate this truck. It needs to be 3x the size, get 10 miles to the gallon, and be filled with useless smart features before it meets their standards.

I would but I feel it would ruin the aesthetic.

Plus I don’t want people to think I’m straight right off the bat. Seems counterproductive. I want people to think I’m gay so they treat me the way they would treat a gay person.

So I can fuck them up for being homophobic.

If you hang out with any LGBT+ people, the bigots always assume you are LGBT+, in case you didn’t know. Ally’s get treated just as bad. Everything about the way bigots work is a “guilty by association” mindset.

Oh I’m aware. It’s why I’ve become so aggressive against homophobes.

Too many of my friends have dealt with the bigotry and I’m not having it anymore.

Some years ago, before Trump even took over the party, the Texas GOP started putting shit like this directly into their official state party platform. Including a nice PDF doc on their own hosted domain where you could cite everything. It was really handy for showing Enlightened Centrists that, no, it’s not just a loud minority of the right. This is what the party is like now, and has been for a while.

Some of those religious nutter comments are absolutely unhinged.

Religion is a mental illness and it’s astounding that it’s still acceptable.
