SAME. My area has rides for people on medicad to appointments but the shuttle busses are only for 65+ and it’s such a shame because they stop right at your home and pick you up. wtf you bastards let me on!

this is almost me, except I work hard as hell (i was doing 996 uber driving last month and the one before) and when I lived in a place with adequate public transit I used it every day (but I don’t live there anymore cuz the rent got too high).
The transit thing is a low blow. I do love public transit, but transit isn’t a sports team that you root for, it has to actually do the thing. If it’s not viable where you live, then that’s the reality.
